I'm currently working on some musical ideas for a good friend's cartoon series and thought i'd upload this little experiment with an old vinyl of some mozart. I recorded the output of my deck and messed with the speed and pitch, as well reversing the audio and adding some distortion and other effects once it was in my daw. Vinyl-like sounds coming from my old guitar(cheap stratocaster imitation) connected directly into the mic input of my pc with an adapter, the volume and tone knobs, and the five way switch make a similar noise but way more louder; which can be heard around the end, the audio is compressed with the compressor from ableton live 9.

Sfx sound made using a reversed saxophone sampled from and old jazz vinyl and an helicopter flying over my house, processed with couple of effects.

I recorded this a ways back on a cassette recorder and i tried to remove as much hiss as i could with sony's 'sound forge' but i think the hiss kinda gives it an old time vinyl sound. Please comment on what you will use it for. Thanks. :^).
